The VisitOulu website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about how you use the website (including your IP address) will be sent to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Our website uses IP anonymisation. Accordingly, Google will shorten/anonymise the last octet of the IP address of citizens of the Member States of the European Union and members of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent and shortened in the US by Google servers. Google will use this information on behalf of the website provider to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website traffic for website providers and to provide other services relating to website traffic and website use for the website provider.
