Expert Session / Workshop on Education

City of Oulu is a prominent provider of high-quality education in Finland. We work in different levels of education from early childhood to upper secondary and adult education. We have 84 early childhood education and care centres, 46 comprehensive schools and 10 upper secondary schools.

Expert sessions and/or workshops can be facilitated about different educational topics, such as Finnish Education System, Comprehensive Education, Early Childhood Education, Finnish Curriculum, Transversal Competences, Quality and Assessment, Wellbeing and Support Systems in Schools, STEAM Pedagogy, Sustainable Future, Global Citizenship Skills Education, and Entrepreneurship Education an Work-life Skills.

Duration:
– possible for 1 hour or longer,
– possible to tailor-make a program for one or more days including e.g. expert sessions and school visits (school visits not possible during school holidays).

Expert sessions and workshops are possible:
– between August and mid-June
– except the holidays around Christmas and Easter time, and public holidays.

Booking:
– Expert sessions and workshops are possible only with a prebooking. Kindly send an e-mail (eduoulu (at) ouka.fi) with the date and time request, group size, topic(s), and the objective, in order to plan the session accordingly.
– Pricing is based on the duration of the session, the group size, the content/methods, and the venue.

Available with a separate fee and prebooking:
– Lunch, and/or
– coffee/tea, and/or
– snacks.
– Pricing is per person.
