Get on your bike and ride!
Oulu is among the best Finnish cities for biking. It boasts more than 600 km of pedestrian and cycle routes that take you easily from one place to the next.

Oulu residents do not hesitate to get on their bikes and ride, also in the winter. The local biking paths are maintained all year round. The bike takes you far: the longest main bike route extends 38 km from Oulu city centre.

The perky pink city bikes also invite people to bike in Oulu. The 600 Sykkeli bikes and 60 city bike stations around the city are used by visitors and locals for six months a year. Sykkeli is an excellent form of transport during summer events or if you want to take a tour of local sights. You can use a bike by registering as a user and adding the information of your payment card in the service.

Biking maps and tips, as well as information about rental bikes and guided fat bike tours, are available from the Oulu Tourist Information Office at Torikatu 18.
