University of Oulu Botanical Gardens


The Botanical Garden of the University of Oulu is one of the northernmost scientific gardens in the world. Created to support the research and teaching needs of the University, the Garden also serves schools and the public by providing a living window into the diversity of the plant world. The iconic pyramid-shaped greenhouses Romeo and Julia hold 1200 species from all over the world and the outdoor garden you can find over 4000 species in the beautiful landscape.
