Koivurannan saunalautta – Tradition afloat on the Oulujoki

Koivurannan saunalautta offers an authentic Finnish sauna experience right in the heart of the Oulujoki River. Step into the gentle heat of the sauna and enjoy a perfect blend of Finnish sauna culture, beautiful riverside scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere.

During the summer season (May 1 – October 1), the public sauna is open without reservation. In winter, the raft also features a refreshing ice hole for winter swimming, always included in the sauna ticket. The dip can also be purchased separately whenever the raft is open (3 € per swim). In addition, the sauna raft hosts public cruises where the traditional sauna experience meets river landscapes and a maritime atmosphere.

Lainesauna – A sauna raft adventure in the heart of the Oulujoki River

Lainesauna is a beloved Oulu sauna raft waiting for you at Saarela Harbour – just a stone’s throw from the city center. The sauna can comfortably host more than 15 people at once. You can book the entire raft privately for groups of up to 25 while docked, or set off on a cruise along the Oulujoki River with up to 12 people. A spacious rooftop terrace and cozy indoor lounge provide plenty of room to relax, and from the sauna you can dive straight into the river – refreshing waters in summer and a traditional ice hole in winter.

Public sauna sessions are open to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6–9 pm. Remember to bring your swimsuit and towel (available for rent for 5€). Minors are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
