Midnight Sun Run Oulu 2027

Running, Culture, and the Magic of the Midnight Sun

Midnight Sun Run Oulu is a running event that combines sport, culture and the magic of the midnight sun into a unique experience. The event will take place on Saturday, 3 July 2027, in Oulu, and its start and finish point are located at Nallikari Beach.

There are three different distances available: 10 km, 21 km and 42 km. Along the routes, runners will enjoy Oulu’s coastal scenery and landmarks as evening turns into night.

After crossing the finish line, the experience continues at the AfterRun event, where participants can relax, enjoy food and drinks, and spend the summer night together with fellow runners.

During the day, there will also be Sun Run Kids, a running event for children 12 years of age. The inaugural event reached its participant capacity quickly, and next year Sun Run Kids will be even bigger, allowing more children to experience the joy of running in a supportive environment.

Midnight Sun Run Oulu is open to everyone. Whether you are a competitor, a goal-oriented runner, a running enthusiast, or taking part in your very first event – MSRO has something for everyone, regardless of level!
