During the European Capital of Culture year 2026, Oulu will serve as the Chair of the Alvar Aalto Foundation’s city network.
The theme of the week is Handprints. The programme highlights Alvar Aalto’s legacy in Oulu and brings together a wide range of theme-related events. More detailed information about the programme will be announced during the spring.
